Anniversary of Earth Day - film 24 April

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day, Sustainable Jamboree will be showing a 50 min film on Saturday 24 April, 1 - 3pm at the Mt Ommaney Library.

It's called 'In Transition1.0: from oil dependence to local resilience'

‘In Transition’ is the first detailed film about the international Transition Towns movement filmed by those that know it best, those who are making it happen on the ground. The Transition Towns movement is about communities around the world responding to peak oil and climate change with creativity, imagination and humour, and setting about rebuilding their local economies and communities. It is positive, solutions focused, viral and fun. http://transitionculture.org/in-transition/
